About Us
Ø The PPRC has as its guiding principles the fundamental Republican ideals of fiscal conservatism and social inclusion.
Ø Republicans believe that American free enterprise and individual initiative have given greater prosperity to more people, more fairly, and more widely distributed, than has any other economic system at any time, anywhere. Promising to deliver people from want by destroying the very source of prosperity-free enterprise-through crushing tax increases and bloated bureaucracy is hypocritical and immoral.
Ø The PPRC believes that smaller, more efficient federal government will give greater responsibility to states and local governments, placing government closer to the people it serves.
Ø The PPRC believes that fiscal policy should stimulate economic growth within the private sector, minimize government regulation and enhance long-term productivity... a lower and simpler form of taxation is essential to a vibrant, growth economy.
Ø The PPRC believes in the importance of protecting individual rights and of promoting strong families, as the underpinnings of effective social policy.
Ø The PPRC will continue to support local, state and national Republican candidates that share these guiding principles.
Ø We are a party that believes the individual is more important than the state. We value free enterprise and individual initiative. The Republican Party is a party of ideas and opportunity. A party of leadership and inclusion. And that is a message we must carry to the American people.
Ø The PPRC is dedicated to building a stronger Republican majority by promoting the fundamental conservative ideals of lower taxes, less government and more personal freedom.
Ø Republicans believe in the rights of crime victims as well as those of defendants, in just punishment for heinous crimes, and in judges who rule, not according to their personal politics, but according to the law.
Ø The PPRC believes that we must articulate a vision, and a message, based upon the Reagan legacy of limited government and expanded personal freedom. The GOP must unite around the core Republican principles of less government, lower taxes, substantive education reform, anti-crime initiatives and a strong national defense.
Our challenge is to unite all Republicans behind a common agenda that helps us expand our congressional and senatorial ranks. The PPRC seeks to promote these core issues that unite Republicans, and as Ronald Reagan successfully accomplished, attract conservative Democrats and Independents to forge a winning electoral coalition in congressional and presidential elections. This is The Pacific Palisades Republican Club vision for the 21st century.
